The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday criticised the Nagaland Baptist Church Council, accusing it of making an attempt to create “enmity” between sections of society via remarks linking the organisation and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to violence.

 

The reaction follows a observation by way of the NBCC condemning an alleged raid by way of the Assam Rifles at a church in Nagaland, wherein it reportedly stated the RSS and VHP “advertise and ignite violence”.
