Nepal Airways on Thursday issued an apology for what it described as cartographic inaccuracies within the wake of a public outburst appearing Jammu and Kashmir as a part of Pakistan in a “community map”.

The airways had deleted the social media submit on Wednesday following the backlash.

“We sincerely apologise for the mistake within the community map lately shared on our social media channels. The map contained important cartographic inaccuracies relating to global limitations that don’t replicate the legitimate stance of Nepal or Nepal Airways,” it posted on X.

“Now we have instantly got rid of the submit and are engaging in an interior overview to make sure our fabrics meet the absolute best requirements of accuracy. We deeply worth our sturdy relationships with our neighbours and pals within the area and remorseful about any offense the submit has brought about,” the airline added.
