The Union Ministry of House Affairs (MHA), in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir management, has authorized the deployment of 670 corporations of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for the approaching annual Amarnath Yatra.

 

The Yatra is scheduled to begin on July 3 and conclude on August 28, lasting 57 days within the Kashmir Valley.

 

As according to authentic assets, this would be the largest-ever deployment of paramilitary forces for the once a year pilgrimage, following remaining 12 months’s fatal terror assault in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 other folks and taken India and Pakistan to the threshold of full-fledged battle.

 

Resources stated in depth safety preparations had been finalised after detailed consultations between the MHA and senior safety officers in Jammu and Kashmir.
