A number of Opposition MPs staged a protest within the Parliament Area on Wednesday over the reported LPG provide crunch. With an enormous banner mentioning ‘Empty Cylinders, Empty Guarantees’, the MPs raised slogans in opposition to the federal government.

 

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, NCP(SP)’s Supriya Sule, SP’s Dharmendra Yadav, CPI-ML’s Sudama Prasad, DMK’s T Sumathy, JMM’S Mahua Maji, amongst others, participated within the protest close to the Makar Dwar of Parliament.

 

The reported LPG crunch comes amid the struggle in West Asia, following which the federal government has prioritised the allocation of regionally produced herbal gasoline for LPG manufacturing, compressed herbal gasoline (CNG), and piped cooking gasoline sectors.

 

The federal government has stepped up efforts to streamline gasoline distribution and simplicity provide pressures, directing sooner processing of town gasoline initiatives whilst expanding allocations of business LPG to key sectors amid a difficult geopolitical atmosphere.
