Director Aditya Dhar is back with his fantastic cast. Ranveer Singh reprises his role as Hamza in the lead, alongside Sanjay Dutt as SP Choudhary Aslam, R. Madhavan as Ajay Bansal, Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal, and Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali. Sara Arjun plays Yalina Jamali, while Danish Pandor portrays Uzair Baloch. Release and Box Office Expectations
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is set to release in theaters on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festive events of Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi. However, it will face tough competition as it goes head-to-head with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
The first installment of Dhurandhar, which released on December 5, 2025, was a massive commercial success. The movie raked in more than Rs 820 crore in India and between Rs 1,320–1,347 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing single-language film in Hindi cinema. With such a great start, the bar has been set extremely high for the sequel.
From the teaser, it appears that Dhurandhar 2 will delve deeper into Hamza’s character while retaining the same level of high-octane action and patriotic elements that made the first film a huge success.
